Ron Pilcher, 
Music-thanatologist
Ron earned his Bachelor of Music degree from San Diego State University, graduating with Honors and Distinction. He has worked as a full time private music teacher for the past 29 years in Lake Stevens, WA and in 1995 he began volunteering with Group Health Coop Home and Health Services as a hospice respite worker. Music-thanatology is a marriage of two of his interests; music performance and ministering to the needs of hospice patients.  He earned his Contemplative Musicianship Certification from the Chalice of Repose Project (CORP) in 2006 and Music-thanatologist Certificate of completion in 2010. He completed his internship and residency at Evergreen Hospice Center in Kirkland, WA where he performed 175 vigils for 150 patients.

Ron is married to Linda, a music teacher in the Snohomish School District. They have 2 daughters, Laura and Rebecca.
